A member of the famed Kennedy family, Tatiana Schlossberg, succumbed on Tuesday following a recent revelation of a rare leukemia diagnosis.

The sad news was announced in a online announcement from the Kennedy Presidential Library.
“Our beloved Tatiana passed away this morning. She will forever remain in our hearts.”

In a recently published piece in November, she disclosed that she had been found to have acute myeloid leukemia with a specific genetic mutation.
This form of cancer is a malignancy that originates in the blood and bone marrow.
